Digital Marketing Specialist
The Opportunity
Ruby-Collins, Inc., a premier General Contractor with a 55+ year legacy in the water and wastewater infrastructure space, is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to lead the strategic development and execution of the company’s digital brand identity.
This position involves taking full ownership of the social media landscape, identifying growth opportunities, and maintaining brand consistency across all platforms. Serving as a creative partner to Executive and Field Leadership, this role is key in shaping the narrative and digital presence of the essential infrastructure work performed by the company.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Lead the presence, posting, and growth strategies for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Identify new ways and opportunities to highlight company work and increase interest, interaction, and brand attraction.
- Brand Strategy & Execution: Develop and lead social media and brand management strategy. Act as the primary lead for the internal brand image, ensuring all digital efforts reinforce the company’s mission and culture.
- On-Site Content Capture: Conduct regular visits to active job sites to capture high-quality photography and video. Translate complex heavy civil operations – such as underground utilities and treatment plant construction – into visual narratives that remain authentic to the internal company identity.
- Creative Vendor Coordination: Provide creative direction, coordinate scheduling, and serve as the primary point of contact for external photographers and videographers.
- Graphic Design: Create high-impact marketing collateral, project profiles, and branded materials using Adobe Creative Suite. Ensure all visual assets elevate the company’s professional image while maintaining brand consistency.
- Internal & External Communications: Design strategic campaigns, and manage the company newsletter, to keep 500+ employees and industry partners informed/connected to the internal brand mission.
- Website Maintenance: Maintain the company website, via WordPress, to ensure project portfolios are current, accurate, and visually aligned with brand strategy.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Professional Experience: 3 – 6 years of proven success in digital marketing, social media/brand management, and content creation. Must have a demonstrated track record of growing a brand's presence and executing mid-to-long-term strategies.
- Industry-Specific: Prior experience within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction), heavy civil, or related blue-collar and trade-based sectors (manufacturing, logistics, or industrial services) is highly preferred.
- Multimedia Production: High-level proficiency in professional-grade photography and videography. Must be capable of capturing and editing high-quality content independently while also possessing the ability to manage and direct external videographers and photographers.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) are required to produce professional-grade video, photo, and design content.
- Field Capability: The ability and willingness to navigate active construction environments (PPE provided) and engage professionally with field crews and project management teams.
- Self-Starter Mentality: A high degree of initiative and the ability to manage shifting deadlines independently. This role requires a professional who treats the brand with an "owner’s mindset" and is comfortable taking the lead on creative direction.
- Location & Travel: Based in or commuting to Smyrna, GA. Requires regular travel to Metro-Atlanta job sites and occasional travel to regional project locations.
- Compliance: Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening/physical, and authorization to work in the U.S.
